EDGE UP 2.0 is a short-duration skills training program to help displaced mid-career oil and gas professionals in Calgary pivot to careers in technology related roles. Future Skills Centre (FSC) re-invested in EDGE UP to validate additional in-demand skills and technology training streams to continue to build Calgary’s tech talent pool.

To participate in this award-winning program, check off all options that you are interested in below:

Review short-listed graduate resumes for hiring

Hire a student for a work placement : For a duration of a three-month work term for students, ICTC’s WIL Digital program offers employers a wage subsidy of 50% up to $5,000 (or 70% up to $7,000 for underrepresented students).

Sponsor a capstone project for students: Through Riipen's Level UP Capstone Projects sponsored by the Government of Canada, each student may receive up to $1,400 after they complete your capstone project of under 80 hours.

Volunteer your time to support the program in other ways:
• Panelist for the EDGE UP Tech Talk series
• Mock interview sessions
• Mentoring
• Employer consultation for program design
